“Shan” is the ancient snow shan tea whilst “Nam” stands for Vietnam. Vietnam possesses a rare specialty of the world tea industry, which is the ancient snow shan tea variety in the high mountains of the Eastwest and Northwest provinces, with an area of ​​over 25 thousand hectares.

“Shanam” expresses the love and passion of our tea makers when we apply more than 20 years of processing knowledge in the industrial tea industry to the production of ancient snow shan tea, diversifying and standardizing such rare specialty and bring it more widely to Vietnamese tea lovers.

In its long-term strategy, Shanam also targets the international market with the desire to make the Vietnamese ancient snow shan tea brand gradually become a unique culture in the international tea lover community.

To identify the brand, Shanam chooses a heritage tea tree population - more than 600 years old in Ta Xua and Sung Do, where raw material areas are handed over for exploitation by the government to Shanam - as a representative image.

The ancient tea tree, with its wide canopy, grows from rocky mountains in the mist and wind of the highlands, through the hands of Shanam tea makers, producing a finished product worthy of the "green gold" of the mountains and forests.

The image of a several-hundred-year-old tea tree with strong vitality, simplified in one stroke, represents the philosophy of sustainable exploitation and production as well as the bond between Shanam and the indigenous people, which is a seamlessness without interruption.

Shanam tea reaching consumers will add more values to the process of sustainably preserve and exploit Vietnam's ancient snow shan tea trees.

SHANAM MISSION

In the process of finding snow shan tea raw material areas, Shanam encountered pieces of life, heard stories and witnessed the hardships of people in the Northwest region.

The barren highland land does not help them have enough food and clothes. A year there are more than two months of hunger and bone-chilling cold since there is not enough clothes to wear.

Helping indigenous people improve their material and spiritual lives from ancient snow shan tea buds is a social responsibility that Shanam set out from the beginning.
